Following the disaster declaration issued by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), individuals and households that reside or have a business in Chelan, Ferry, Okanogan, Spokane, Stevens, and Yakima Counties qualify for tax relief. [Tribal areas:] This relief also extends to businesses and residents within the Confederated Tribes and Bands of the Yakama Nation, the Confederated Tribes of the Colville Reservation, and Spokane Tribe of Indians.
Deadline, as stated by the IRS:
These taxpayers now have until Feb. 1, 2027, to file various federal individual and business tax returns and make tax payments.
